Grupa Onet.pl takes over Business Insider license in Poland

Grupa Onet.pl, a company of Ringier Axel Springer Media AG, takes over the Business Insider license in Poland. Business Insider Poland will adopt the successful approach of Business Insider in the United States, while adding a special emphasis with regard to the Polish market. The offering is supposed to start within the first half of 2016.

Alek Kutela, CEO Grupa Onet.pl: "We are delighted to bring with Business Insider an offering to the Polish market, that fulfills the needs of young industry leaders for a new approach in digital economic journalism."

A detailed concept of Business Insider Poland is going to be worked-out. The license agreement for Poland was reached, after Axel Springer closed the majority acquisition of Business Insider Inc. end of October 2015.
