• DHL Supply Chain hat in Halle an der Saale ein klimaneutrales Logistikzentrum in Betrieb genommen, um für neue Kunden Wachstumsmöglichkeiten am strategisch wichtigen Drehkreuz Leipzig/Halle zu schaffen.
• Der Standort bietet 34.000 Quadratmeter Lagerfläche und bis zu 55.000 Palettenstellplätze.
• Dank optimaler Verkehrsanbindung eignet sich der Standort für ein breites Branchenspektrum und macht nationale und internationale Zustellung – einschließlich weltweiter Zustellung am Folgetag - möglich.

Bonn, 19. November 2025: DHL Supply Chain hat sein neues Logistikzentrum in Halle an der Saale eröffnet. Mit ihrem dritten Standort in der Region will die Division ihre Präsenz im Ballungsraum Leipzig/Halle weiter stärken. Der Standort ist strategisch in den DHL Campus Leipzig/Halle eingebunden und bedient bereits erste Kunden. Das hochmoderne Logistikzentrum bietet insgesamt 34.000 Quadratmeter Lagerfläche und bis zu 55.000 Palettenstellplätze. Damit ist es auf die wachsenden Anforderungen von Kunden unterschiedlichster Branchen ausgelegt.

Das Logistikzentrum Halle umfasst drei Hallen mit jeweils 10.500 Quadratmetern Fläche und verfügt über 27 Verladetore. Der nach den höchsten Nachhaltigkeitsstandards (DGNB Gold) errichtete Standort ist mit Photovoltaikanlagen und energieeffizienter LED-Beleuchtung ausgestattet und unterstreicht den Anspruch von DHL seine Kunden mit emissionsreduzierten Logistikdienstleistungen zu unterstützen. Der Standort beschäftigt derzeit mehr als 450 Mitarbeitende, mit weiteren 100 Arbeitsplätzen, die entstehen, sobald der Erweiterungsbau vollständig ausgelastet ist.

Unser Angebot reicht von Lagerhaltung und Kommissionierung – einschließlich Gefahrgut und Batterien – bis hin zu Mehrwertdiensten und komplexen automatisierten Lösungen, die von unserem qualifizierten und erfahrenen Team realisiert werden. Das neue Logistikzentrum unterstützt zudem das Wachstum der bereits am DHL Campus vertretenen Kunden.“

Dank seiner verkehrsgünstigen Lage punktet der Standort mit einer optimalen multimodalen Anbindung an das nationale DHL-Paket- und Expressnetz, das vorhandene Schienen- und Autobahnnetz sowie an den Frachtflughafen Leipzig/Halle, wo DHL Express sein weltweit größtes Drehkreuz für globale Luftfrachtsendungen unterhält.

Bonn, November 19, 2025: DHL Supply Chain recently launched its newest logistics center in Halle (Saale), establishing the company’s third site in the area and further strengthening its presence in the region. Fully operational and strategically integrated into the broader DHL Leipzig-Halle Campus, the site is already serving its first customers. This state-of-the-art facility offers a total warehouse area of 34,000 square meters, has the capacity to accommodate up to 55,000 pallet spaces, and is designed to meet the evolving needs of customers across various sectors.

The Halle logistics center includes three operational halls, each spanning 10,500 square meters, and is equipped with 27 loading docks. Built to meet the highest sustainability standards (DGNB Gold), the site features photovoltaic systems and energy-efficient LED lighting, reflecting DHL's goals to support customers with emission reduced logistics services. The site currently employs more than 450 people, with an additional 100 jobs to be created once the extension building is fully utilized.

The facility benefits from excellent multi-modal transport connections, including access to the national DHL parcel and express network, the rail and highway network, and the Leipzig-Halle freight airport – home to the world’s largest DHL Express air freight hub for global air cargo shipments.
