The issuer is responsible for the content of this announcement. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Announcement according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG (share) Person/company obliged to make the notification: ----------------------------------- Name: Fielmann Familienstiftung Place: Hamburg State: Deutschland On 19.11.2012, in accordance with Article 21 section 1 of the WpHG (German Securities Trading Act), Fielmann Aktiengesellschaft, Hamburg, was notified of the following facts by the Fielmann Family Foundation: on 16 November 2012, the voting rights of the shares held by the Fielmann Family Foundation exceeded the 30% as well as the 50% threshold, so that the shareholding now comprises 51% (21,420,000 voting rights). Of this, 26.48% (11,123,420 voting rights) will be added in accordance with the terms of Article 22 section 1, No. 1 of the WpHG (German Securities Trading Act). The additional voting rights will be held through the company indicated below, which is controlled by the Fielmann Family Foundation, which holds more than 3% of the voting rights in Fielmann Aktiengesellschaft: fielmann INTER-OPTIK GmbH & Co., Hamburg. N.B.: the fact that the threshold was exceeded is attributable to the transfer of shares by Prof. Dr. Günther Fielmann to the Fielmann Family Foundation.
