Notification pursuant to § 26 Section 1 Sentence 1 Wertpapierhandelsgesetz (Securities Trading Act) and notification pursuant to § 41 Section 3 Wertpapierhandelsgesetz (Securities Trading Act) with the aim of a Europe-wide distribution
1. Johanna Quandt GmbH with its seat in Bad Homburg, Germany, has notified us in accordance with § 21 Section 1 Wertpapierhandelsgesetz (Securities Trading Act) that its voting rights in Bayerische Motoren Werke Aktiengesellschaft exceeded the thresholds 3%, 5%, 10% and 15% on 19 October 1998 and amounted to 15.38% (3,680,813 voting rights) on this day. These voting rights were attributable to Johanna Quandt GmbH pursuant to § 22 Section 1 Sentence 1 n° 1 Wertpapierhandelsgesetz (Securities Trading Act).
The voting rights attributable to Johanna Quandt GmbH were held through the following companies which were controlled by Johanna Quandt GmbH and the voting rights of which in Bayerische Motoren Werke Aktiengesellschaft amounted to 3% or more in each case:
- Johanna Quandt GmbH & Co. KG für Automobilwerte. 2. Johanna Quandt GmbH with its seat in Bad Homburg v.d. Höhe, Germany, has notified us pursuant to § 41 Section 2 Sentence 1 Wertpapierhandelsgesetz (Securities Trading Act) that on 01 April 2002, 15.38% of the voting rights in Bayerische Motoren Werke Aktiengesellschaft were allocated to Johanna Quandt GmbH. These voting rights were attributable to Johanna Quandt GmbH pursuant to § 22 Section 1 Sentence 1 n° 1 Wertpapierhandelsgesetz (Securities Trading Act) through Johanna Quandt GmbH & Co. KG für Automobilwerte, Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe.
