The aftermarket of the SAF-HOLLAND group is growing closer together. At Automechanika 2026 in Frankfurt, Germany, SAF-HOLLAND will be showing how workshops, dealers and fleet operators will have even easier access to spare parts, digital services and additional components. At the heart of this is the new Parts on Demand (POD) Portal that combines the product identification for SAF-HOLLAND, Haldex and, in future, Assali Stefen, Tecma and York in a single user interface. To this end, SAF-HOLLAND is expanding the portfolio under the Haldex brand with brake pads and brake discs for trailer and tractor axles from different manufacturers, as well as wheel end units for various brands under the SAF-HOLLAND name. Visitors can experience the solutions live from 8 to 12 September 2026 in hall 6.0, booth B20.
New POD Portal bundles SAF-HOLLAND and Haldex
With the new POD Portal, SAF-HOLLAND is digitally combining central aftermarket processes in the Group. Workshops and dealers can now identify products from SAF-HOLLAND and Haldex in a single portal. This facilitates the search for the right components, reduces media discontinuities and provides a clear digital entry into the joint spare parts range. The new user interface is modern, clearly structured and consistently designed for quick orientation during everyday work processes.
“With the new POD portal, we are significantly reducing the complexity in the spare parts business,” explains Manuel Balles, Vice President Aftermarket at SAF-HOLLAND. “Workshops and dealers can identify SAF-HOLLAND and Haldex components in a single portal – quickly, clearly and with an application that has been designed specifically for aftermarket work processes.”
Haldex brake expertise for axle systems from other brands
As an experienced brake specialist, Haldex is consistently expanding its aftermarket brake program, offering brake discs and brake pads for a number of trailer and tractor applications. This allows not only SAF-HOLLAND axles, but also axle systems from other brands and applications in the truck and trailer sector to be fitted with Haldex components. The product groups are homologated for the corresponding applications and designed for professional use in the commercial vehicles aftermarket.
The brake pads offer high, stable friction power, low wear, low noise, reduced dust generation and high temperature resistance. Backing plates with corrosion protection prevent premature failure and delamination. The brake discs supplement the range with reliable braking performance, high thermal stability, resistance to warping and cracking as well as narrow tolerances for fast and easy installation.
Complete wheel end units save time in service work
When a service is required, every minute counts. SAF-HOLLAND is presenting its new wheel end units for third-party brands to counteract delays in these cases. Instead of spending time removing, checking and re-installing individual parts when a repair is needed, workshops can simply replace complete wheel end units. That accelerates repairs, reduces downtime and lowers the costs of the service process. In addition to all this, SAF-HOLLAND places a focus on comprehensive solutions for fleet operators: With the complete wheel end units, the company makes efficient refurbishment programmes for entire vehicle fleets possible. The coordinated complete packages from SAF-HOLLAND help customers standardise their maintenance processes and increase the availability of their vehicles.
The portfolio includes ready-to-install wheel end and wheel hub units for a number of common axle and vehicle applications, for example for systems from Schmitz, Krone, BPW, JOST, DAF and Volvo. The components are designed for high structural strength, precision fit, durability, and easy installation and maintenance. With this approach, SAF-HOLLAND helps workshops carry out efficient and safe plannable repairs.
