Precise. Powerful. Cordless. Einhell expands and revises Power X-Change cordless lawn mower range

From spring 2020 Einhell Germany AG will be widening its range of tools for the garden and adding two new 18 V cordless models with an area coverage of 180 m2 and 200 m2 respectively. In addition, the company will also mark the start of the new gardening season with facelifts for four 36 V cordless lawn mowers from the existing Power X-Change series.
Cordless care for smaller gardens
Landau an der Isar, 13.02.2020 – For many hobby gardeners, a lush, dense and well cared-for lawn is the central focus of a beautiful garden. And the topic of city gardening is becoming increasingly important, with the popularity of small and communal gardens steadily rising in cities. They serve as places of retreat and are a welcome distraction from hectic city life. Einhell has reacted to this trend with two new 18 V Power X-Change cordless lawn mowers – the GE-CM 18/33 Li and GE-CM 18/32 Li Solo models, which are perfectly suited to this target market with area coverage of up to 200 m². With no need to worry about finding a mains socket and no risk of tripping over cables, hobby gardeners are free to move around freely as they wish. With a brushless electric motor, both models offer more power and run for longer than a conventional carbon brush motor, and the large wheels put less stress on the lawn while mowing.
The GE-CM 18/33 Li model with a cutting width of 33 cm is recommended for a lawn size of up to 200 m2 and can be purchased both as Solo and Kit variants with a 4.0 Ah lithium-ion rechargeable battery. The high wheeler has a 5-level central cutting height adjustment facility and a 3-way height-adjustable and folding long handle so that it can be perfectly adjusted to the individual needs of the user. With the aid of the fill level indicator, hobby gardeners can easily see when the 30-liter grass collecting basket is full and needs to be emptied.
The GE-CM 18/32 Li Solo is equipped with a 3-level axial cutting height adjustment, a folding long handle with soft grip and an integrated carry handle. The grass collecting basket has a capacity of 25 liters. The lawn mower is recommended for lawns up to 180 m² in size.
Facelift models with new magnetic fastener
The existing range of lawn mowers has also been overhauled and improved. Four new facelift models complete the large selection of cordless lawn mowers that are now offered by Einhell. As well as adjusting the colors to the new design and color concept, the closing mechanism of the battery cover has also been optimized through the addition of a magnetic fastener on all models. With a cutting width of 33 cm ( GE-CM 36/33 Li Kit), 33.5 cm ( GE-CM 36/34-1 Li Solo), 36 cm ( GE-CM 36/36 Li Kit) and 43 cm ( GE-CM 36/43 Li M Solo) the 36 V models achieve an impressively uniform and precise cutting result. Thanks to the innovative twin pack technology, two 18 V rechargeable batteries can be combined to provide 36 V. This means that it is not necessary to purchase a special 36 V battery.
The GE-CM 36/36 Li Kit and GE-CM 36/43 Li M Solo lawn mowers are equipped with a maintenance-free, brushless electric motor for more power and longer running time. The 43 cm model is based on the cordless lawn mower GE-CM 43 Li M Kit, which was crowned best in class in 2019 by renowned German consumer organization Stiftung Warentest.
At present, over 130 cordless tools for the garden and home can be operated with all the available Power X-Change rechargeable battery units. In this way, the platform offers maximum flexibility and cordless freedom for every project, from the initial purchase through to actual use.
