Starting today the dpa subsidiary picture alliance and the european pressphoto agency resume their cooperation. From now on picture alliance not only distributes the epa-archive in Germany but also reassumes secondary sales of the current epa photo production – which makes a total of 10 million high-quality news images.
epa is one of the largest visual content providers in the world with a permanent network of 130 photo/videographers and an extensive network of regular stringers worldwide. Together with its member and partner agencies, epa covers world events in a distinctive way and ensures timely, reliable and quality news coverage from Europe and the world.
epa provides a daily news photo feed of over 2,000 images on global news events - from politics, sports, culture and social issues to natural disasters, conflicts and wars.
Based in Frankfurt epa has many years of experience in the German media market and covers top news from Germany or topics such as federal politics or Bundesliga with its own visual journalists. The service is managed via regional editorial desks in Bangkok, Cairo, Frankfurt, Madrid, Washington, D.C and Los Angeles.
