SET Tech Festival & Award 2022
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
Start Up Energy Transition (SET), the German Energy Agency (dena) and World Energy Council are pleased to invite you to the sixth edition of the SET Tech Festival, an inspiring event for innovation in the energy transition.
This year's motto is: Stories of Energy Transition
Fossil dependencies, increased gas prices and an energy crisis in Europe: the past year has made the urgency of the global energy transition more than clear. Innovations and new technologies therefore have a key role to play in the transformation of the energy sector. At the annual SET Tech Festival and SET Award in Berlin, energy companies, international start-ups, public organizations, investors, researchers and political actors come together to think about novel solutions on the one hand and to award innovations that can accelerate the energy transition on the other.
What to expect:
A day (9 a.m.-6 p.m.) full of exciting workshops, presentations and panel discussions with renowned energy experts (including World Fund, Siemens Energy, European Space Agency), live pitches and an exhibition space of international start-ups, as well as extensive networking and interview opportunities.
The day will conclude with the SET Award ceremony (19:00-21:00), where the winning start-ups in the five SET Award categories will be announced.
