Westerville, Ohio, 17. März 2026. DHL Supply Chain, der weltweit führenden Kontraktlogistikanbieter, setzt in seinem globalen Netzwerk ab sofort auf die SOFTBOT®‑Plattform von SVT Robotics. Bereits heute sind weltweit mehr als 8.000 kollaborative Roboter an Standorten von DHL Supply Chain im Einsatz. Mit der neuen Plug-and-Play-Plattform lassen sich Robotiklösungen künftig bis zu zwölfmal schneller integrieren als mit klassischen, individuell programmierten Schnittstellen. Damit kann DHL neue Automatisierungstechnologien deutlich schneller ausrollen.
Bislang mussten für jede einzelne Technologie eigene Schnittstellen entwickelt werden - ein Prozess, der sechs bis acht Wochen in Anspruch nahm und globale Rollouts entsprechend verlangsamte und verteuerte. Dank der vorinstallierten SOFTBOT-Konnektoren setzt DHL nun verstärkt auf modulare Softwarelösungen statt auf monolithische All-in-One-Systeme. Automatisierungslösungen lassen sich dadurch flexibler anpassen, wenn sich Technologien oder Kundenanforderungen weiterentwickeln.
„Die Logistikbranche verändert sich rasant – sei es durch neue Kundenprofile, schwankende Volumina oder technologische Innovationen“, sagt Sally Miller, Global CIO bei DHL Supply Chain. „Mit der SOFTBOT-Plattform können wir verschiedene Robotiklösungen nun sehr viel schneller anbinden, ihre Leistung in Echtzeit überwachen und sie problemlos auf weitere Standorte übertragen.“
Neben der schnelleren Umsetzung von Automatisierungsprojekten und der einfachen Einbindung verschiedener Robotiktechnologien bietet die SOFTBOT-Plattform ein zentrales, standortübergreifendes Dashboard, mit dem Systeme und Abläufe effizient gesteuert und überwacht werden können.

WESTERVILLE, OH, March 17, 2026. DHL Supply Chain, one of the world’s leading contract logistics providers, announced the deployment of SVT Robotics’ SOFTBOT® platform across its global warehouse network. With more than 8,000 collaborative robots already active across its global operations, the new plug-and-play platform allows DHL to deploy robotics integrations up to 12 times faster than traditional custom coding setups, setting the stage for the logistics giant to fast-track future automation rollouts.
Prior to implementing the technology-neutral software, automation projects required separate custom coding for every new technology, taking up to six to eight weeks to initiate new solutions. This made enterprise-wide rollouts and upgrades slow and costly. Supported by the platform’s prebuilt SOFTBOT connectors, DHL is redoubling its move away from monolithic, all-in-one systems to modular warehouse setups that accommodate multiple automated solutions and can be reconfigured as technology and customer needs evolve.
