A New Record: The Koehler Group Honors 173 Employees for Their Longtime Loyalty and Dedication

This year’s celebration for employees with work anniversaries saw the Koehler Group honor a total of 173 people, shattering the previous record. The number included 133 employees who were celebrating a length of service of 10, 25, 40, or even 50 years, as well as 31 employees starting their phased retirement and nine entering full retirement.
Guests attending the celebration at the Reithalle venue in the German city of Offenburg were able to enjoy a three-course menu and an exciting event program that included jump rope troupe “Burning Ropes” from the German municipality of Ottersweier. Under the expert direction of Marcel Velte, the crew delivered an energetic show with impressive feats of athleticism that kept the audience at the edge of their seats.
Experience and Knowledge as Crucial Success Factors
During his speech, Koehler Group Chief Strategy Officer Philipp Prechtl emphasized the following: “Long lengths of service are no longer a given in today’s world, and that makes the experience, knowledge, and loyalty of our employees all the more valuable. You are a crucial part of our company’s success and, as you all know, have helped shape the Koehler Group’s growth for many, many years.”
One remarkable detail of this year’s event was the 50th work anniversary of an employee who has been with Koehler across three generations, starting with the family’s sixth generation in the form of Werner Koehler. This reflects the fact that the Koehler Group values its people and has remained an attractive employer consistently, which is part of why this story of someone with incredible dedication who has contributed to countless milestones in the company’s development for five decades can be told today.
Appreciation for Longtime Loyalty
The Chairwoman of the Works Council, Sabine Seebacher, also addressed everyone celebrating their work anniversary, as well as everyone entering retirement. Among other things, she thanked them for their years of loyalty and dedication, as well as their contribution to the Koehler Group’s success.
