  • Streamlined product portfolio: ledger paper discontinued

Koehler Paper is strategically restructuring its range of index and office board products and taking an important step towards realigning its paper production operations.

Index board production relocated to Greiz

As part of this strategic realignment, index board products will no longer be made at Koehler Paper’s Oberkirch mill. Instead, the company’s mill in Greiz (in the German state of Thuringia) will be taking over production and making use of synergistic effects with its broad range of office board products. “Our aim with this new structure is to continue optimizing production processes and respond flexibly to market needs while simultaneously maintaining our excellent delivery capability,” says Marco Lang, the Director of Fine Paper and Carbonless Paper at Koehler Paper.

Office board: a sustainable alternative with the "Blue Angel" eco-label

For many years now, the office board made in Greiz has been used successfully by organizations and offices everywhere. This office board is made 100% with secondary fibers; is available in eight pastel colors, three grammages, and numerous sizes; and bears the renowned "Blue Angel" eco-label.

Streamlined product portfolio: ledger paper discontinued

As part of this new portfolio reorganization, Koehler Paper has also decided to completely remove ledger paper from its range of offerings due to collapsing demand. However, the company has also emphasized the fact that personal contacts will continue to be in close contact with customers during the corresponding transition stage and will be available to answer any questions and help choose alternative products. This restructuring will enable Koehler Paper to bolster its competitiveness and effectively align its range of products with future market needs.
