The supervisory board of Zapf Creation AG, Europe's leading manufacturer of play and functional dolls, has appointed Mr. Jaime Ferri Llorens as member of the Management Board as per January 1, 2011 and as Chairman of the Management Board as per February 16, 2011. As planned he will succeed Mr. Ron Oboler, who has managed the company on an interim basis since February 2010 and who will fully concentrate on his current position as Director of International Sales with MGA Entertainment, Inc. from February 16, 2011 onwards.

Mr. Jaime Ferri Llorens was Chief Executive Officer of one of Spain's largest toy manufacturers for more than 25 years and later Executive Chairman for an additional period of 5 years; he has been associated with Zapf Creation AG as advisor and former Member of the Supervisory Board for some time.

Mr. Jaime Ferri Llorens will continue to push the strategy that has been developed jointly with him and which is to push the development of the product portfolio and the geographic expansion.
