Einhell best in class in 'Stiftung Warentest' rechargeable battery tests

Einhell's range of rechargeable batteries has come out on top in the rechargeable battery tests carried out by renowned German consumer organization 'Stiftung Warentest'.In the current comparison tests, which are published by 'Stiftung Warentest' in the 11/2020 edition of its test magazine, the Power X-Change rechargeable battery system from Einhell outperformed all its rivals in the tests, which involved eight different battery platforms. The battery units from the international group with roots in Lower Bavaria/Germany impressed in terms of durability, handling, and safety.

Landau an der Isar, November 2nd, 2020 - The ability to power multiple cordless tools with a single rechargeable battery pack is the current trend for DIY tools and garden equipment. In the latest edition of the test magazine published by 'Stiftung Warentest', eight different battery platforms from different brands were put through their paces. The top spot was taken by Einhell's 18 V 2.0 Ah battery from its Power X-Change family.

Criteria for the comparison test
When it comes to choosing the right rechargeable battery, durability, handling, and the safety of tool batteries are important factors for customers, so naturally the tests carried out by 'Stiftung Warentest' also focused on these areas. In addition, the testers also looked at the number of different tools available that are compatible with the same battery system, and whether the batteries are also suitable for third-party products. Einhell batteries impressed in all aspects of the test criteria.
Dr. Markus Thannhuber, Chief Technology Officer of Einhell Germany AG, was also delighted with Einhell's win in the 'Stiftung Warentest' tests.
