Bonn, Riad – 28. August 2025: DHL eCommerce, der E-Commerce-Logistikspezialist von DHL Group, hat die Übernahme einer Minderheitsbeteiligung an AJEX Logistics Services offiziell abgeschlossen. AJEX ist ein führendes GCC-Lieferketten- und Transportunternehmen, das sich im Besitz der Ajlan & Bros Holding Group befindet. Dieser Schritt ist ein wichtiger Meilenstein für die Expansion von DHL in den schnell wachsenden saudi-arabischen Paketmarkt und die Expansion von AJEX im gesamten Nahen Osten.
Die strategische Partnerschaft positioniert DHL eCommerce und AJEX, um von dem erwarteten zweistelligen Wachstum im E-Commerce-Sektor Saudi-Arabiens, einem zentralen Pfeiler der Vision 2030 des Königreichs, sowie im weiteren Nahen Osten zu profitieren. AJEX nahm 2021 den Betrieb auf und hat sich schnell als führender regionaler und nationaler Paketdienstleister mit einem Netzwerk von über 60 Einrichtungen, 1.200 Fahrzeugen und einem Team von 2.000 Fachleuten etabliert. Von AJEX und der internationalen Reichweite sowie dem operativen Know-how von DHL eCommerce werden Kunden in der Region von verbesserten Lieferdiensten und -erfahrungen profitieren.

Im Rahmen der Partnerschaft wird DHL eCommerce im Management Board von AJEX vertreten sein und hat die Option, seinen Anteil in Zukunft auf eine Mehrheitsbeteiligung zu erhöhen. DHL eCommerce ist nun zusammen mit den Geschäftsbereichen DHL Express, DHL Supply Chain und DHL Global Forwarding im Land präsent. Zukünftig wird AJEX als „AJEX, ein Partner von DHL eCommerce“ auftreten.

Bonn, Riyadh – August 28, 2025: DHL eCommerce, the e-commerce logistics specialist of DHL Group, has officially completed its minority stake acquisition in AJEX Logistics Services. AJEX is a leading GCC supply chain and transportation company, owned by Ajlan & Bros Holding Group. The move marks a significant milestone in DHL’s expansion into the rapidly growing Saudi Arabian parcel market and AJEX expansion across the Middle East.
The strategic partnership positions DHL eCommerce and AJEX to capitalize on the anticipated double-digit growth in Saudi Arabia’s e-commerce sector, a key pillar of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, as well across the broader Middle East region. AJEX started its operations in 2021 and has rapidly emerged as a leading regional and domestic parcel provider with a network of over 60 facilities, 1,200 vehicles and a team of 2,000 professionals. With AJEX, and the international reach and operational know-how of DHL eCommerce, customers across the region will benefit from enhanced delivery services and experience.

Going forward, AJEX will now be branded as 'AJEX, a partner of DHL eCommerce'.
