Toastmasters International, a worldwide nonprofit educational organization that empowers individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders, open the World Championship in Public Speaking in Nashville, Tennesse / USA on August 17th, 2022.

Ranjith Venkatesh from Munich, Germany qualified. He represented District 95: Denmark, Germany, Sweden, and Norway. However, he could not qualify for the final fifth round of the contest.

Around the final round of the contest, numerous board meetings are scheduled, where delegates vote on changed regulations as well as candidates for the board of directors.

Stefan Zahov, Director of District 95 comments: „Ranjith unfortuately didn’t make it to the final round. Now we are curious who will be the new world champion, even if they won’t come from District 95.“
