Einhell and GOVECS bring electric kick scooter with Power X-Change onto the market

Tool and garden equipment manufacturer Einhell is opening its Power X-Change battery platform and joining forces with electric scooter manufacturer GOVECS to launch the ELMOTO KICK, an electric kick scooter with Power X-Change batteries and road license. The world first will be presented to the public for the first time at the EICMA international bicycle and motorbike show in Milan next week.
Covering the last mile with a tool battery
Landau a. d. Isar, 10/31/2019 - Emission-free riding, the possibility of leaving your own car at home every now and then, covering the last mile: these were the attractions that quickly gave electric kick scooters a foothold as a new form of electromobility. GOVECS and Einhell want to take this concept to the next stage of innovation by marrying their core areas of expertise. Their cooperation led to the development of an electric kick scooter that uses batteries from Einhell's Power X-Change platform. The batteries already supply energy for more than 100 workshop and garden tools as well as in the home and for hobbies.

The electric scooters from GOVECS are currently used in more than 16 European cities, accounting for around 60,000 bookings each day. That brings the company to the attention of customers such as Delivery Hero, Domino's and deliveroo as well as sharing providers. GOVECS serves the consumer market with its own electric scooters and the legendary Schwalbe scooter, which it has electrified. These products are now complemented by the new ELMOTO KICK electric kick scooter, available to order as of now. The scooter will be presented for the first time at the EICMA international bicycle and motorbike show in Milan November 5th to 10th.
The ELMOTO KICK: where safety meets performance
With a motor output of 300 W, the electric kick scooter offers a futuristic solution for urban mobility. The high-performance batteries from Einhell make it easy to achieve the speed of 20 km/h allowed by law and a maximum range of 20 kilometers. Two 10-inch pneumatic tires (25 cm), two hydraulic disk brakes and a particularly stable frame have also been installed to deliver the best rider comfort and maximum safety. The LCD display shows the speed and battery status in real time. The ELMOTO KICK is more than a match for inclines of up to 10 degrees. For even greater suitability for everyday use, the ELMOTO KICK weighs in at 15 kg and comes with a foldable handlebar with locking and carry function.
