"Persuant to § 41 sub-section 4a, sentence 5 German Securities 
Trading Act, we inform you that on 20 January 2007, we held 
indirectly financial instruments that grant the right to acquire 
shares in HeidelbergCement AG, Berliner Str. 6, 69120 Heidelberg, 
which represent 5.98% (6,918,238 voting rights) of the voting rights.

The financial instruments indirectly held by us are held by the 
following companies controlled by us:

- Allianz Finanzbeteiligungs GmbH,
- Dresdner Bank AG,
- Dresdner Kleinwort Securities Ltd.

At the same time we inform you pursuant to § 41 sub-section 4a, 
sentence 5 German Securities Trading Act, in connection with § 24 
German Securities Trading Act that:

On 20 January 2007, Allianz Finanzbeteiligungs GmbH, Königinstr. 28, 
80802 Munich, held indirectly financial instruments that grant the 
right to acquire shares in HeidelbergCement AG, Berliner Str. 6, 
69120 Heidelberg, which represent 5.98% (6,918,238 voting rights) of 
the voting rights.

On 20 January 2007, Dresdner Bank AG, Jürgen-Ponto-Platz 1, 60301 
Frankfurt am Main, held indirectly and directly financial instruments
that grant the right to acquire shares in HeidelbergCement AG, 
Berliner Str. 6, 69120 Heidelberg, which represent 5.98% (6,918,238 
voting rights) of the voting rights.
