euro adhoc: Bertrandt AG / Earnings Forecast / Positive business year 2004/2005 expected

On the basis of the preliminary quarterly figures as of June 30,
2005, the board of management ex-pects a positive EBIT of 1.2 to 1.7
million euro after one-time charges for the business year 2004/2005.
Based on implemented restructuring measures, the EBIT as of June 30,
2005 will pre-sumably be influenced by one-time effects in the amount
of 3.7 million euro. The board of manage-ment expects the following
turnover and earnings figures at June 30, 2005:

The forecast for EBIT of the business year 2004/2005 conveys the
board of management’s expectation that the measures  for increasing
earnings implemented in the business year will already have initial
noticeable effects on the earnings in the 4th quarter. By
strategically focusing on the market and cus-tomer as well as through
the implemented restructuring measures, the company continues to
assume that it will be able to sustain the expected positive earnings
trend from the 4th quarter in the coming business year 2005/2006.
