On May 07, 2004 ThyssenKrupp Automotive AG, Bochum, informed
Bertrandt Aktiengesellschaft, Ehningen, that it had on the same day
concluded a purchase agreement to acquire a total of 2,536,852
Bertrandt shares from Vermögensverwaltungsgesellschaft Familie
Bichler bR and Beteiligungsgesellschaft Familie Kenkmann bR.
According to the purchaser, the acquisition is taking place against
the background of project-related cooperation with Bertrandt
Aktiengesellschaft. It is still subject to the approval of the
Federal Cartel Office.
