OWF23 - German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Vice Chancellor and Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action Dr. Robert Habeck, and Federal Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Hubertus Heil will be speaking at the East German Economic Forum 2023 in Bad Saarow

Berlin, 25 June 2023: A New Era - This is the motto of the East German Economic Forum OWF23, which will take place from 11 to 13 June 2023. Now in its 8th year, high-ranking personalities from business, politics, science, and government will meet in Bad Saarow (Brandenburg) to develop ideas and solutions for a sustainable transformation against the backdrop of globally decisive events such as the pandemic and Russia's war against Ukraine.

In 2023, the leading conference of the East German business world will focus on the following topics in particular: Is East Germany really threatened by de-industrialization or are we rather experiencing re-industrialization? How can (East) Germany attract the urgently needed skilled workers and employees? How do we position ourselves in global competition, and what role can East Germany's high-tech clusters play in this? How can Germany become faster in structural change?
