Andritz AG hereby announces that at the end of the month April 2012 the number
of voting rights amounts to a total of 104.000.000 voting rights.
The change of total voting rights is effective as of 12.04.2012.

The increase of the total number of share voting rights is due to the share
split of 1:2 as of 12.4.2012 (registration in commercial register). The nominal
share capital remained unchanged.
