section 21 para. 1 German Securities Trading Act (WpHG) that, on 25 August 2010,
the voting rights held by BlackRock, Inc. in HeidelbergCement AG, Heidelberg,
Germany, fell below the threshold of 5%. On that date, BlackRock, Inc. held
4.62% of the voting rights in HeidelbergCement AG arising from 8,657,631 voting
rights.

All voting rights in HeidelbergCement AG were attributed to BlackRock, Inc.
pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG.
