Morgan Stanley, Wilmington, USA, with fax letter dated 8 October 2009 which has
been received on 26 October 2009, has notified us on its own behalf and on
behalf of such further subsidiaries as mentioned below pursuant Sec. 21 para. 1
and Sec. 24 German Securities Trading Act, as a correction of its notification
dated 5 October 2009, that:

1. The holding entity of Morgan Stanley Bank AG, Frankfurt, Germany, Morgan
Stanley International Holdings Inc., Wilmington, USA, on 25 September 2009, has
fallen below the thresholds of 10%, 5% and 3% of the voting rights of
HeidelbergCement AG, Heidelberg, Germany, and on that day holds 1.29% (2.412.994
voting rights) of the voting rights whereby the aforementioned voting rights
have to be attributed pursuant to Sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 No. 1 German
Securities Trading Act; and that

2. The holding entity of Morgan Stanley International Holdings Inc., Wilmington,
USA, Morgan Stanley, Wilmington, USA, on 25 September 2009, has fallen below the
thresholds of 10%, 5% and 3% of the voting rights of HeidelbergCement AG,
Heidelberg, Germany, and on that day holds 1.45% (2.713.044 voting rights) of
the voting rights whereby the aforementioned voting rights have to be attributed
pursuant to Sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 No. 1 German Securities Trading Act.
