Berlin, December 15, 2005 - We have today been informed that the stock split agreed upon at the General Meeting of Shareholders of Beta Systems Software AG on June 14, 2005, was entered in the Commercial Register of Beta Systems Software AG today, December 15, 2005. As part of the stock split, the share capital of Beta Systems Software AG has been restructured to the extent that one share ("Stückaktie" governed by German law) is replaced by two shares ("Stückaktie" governed by German law). Thus, the notional interest of each share ("Stückaktie" governed by German law) of Beta Systems Software AG in the Company’s share capital will be reduced from approx. EUR 2.56 to approx. EUR 1.28 per share.  The stock split is likely to be implemented within the area of securities trading from December 28, 2005, to December 29, 2005.
