Darmstadt (euro adhoc) - Darmstadt, Germany, 16-03-2009 - Software AG has appointed Ivo Totev to the Executive Board with responsibility for Professional Services worldwide.

Ivo Totev has more than fifteen years experience in the IT-industry, holding positions in Progress Software, Sun Microsystems and SAP before joining Software AG in 2005. Initially responsible for the implementation of product strategy and product marketing in the integration business, Ivo has been Chief Marketing Officer since mid-2007.

Ivo Totev assumes immediate responsibility for the global Professional Services business replacing Holger Friedrich. Holger Friedrich leaves Software AG due to personal reasons.
