SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG announces Closing Results as of 9/30/2000: Net earnings for the first 9 months climb to 75.7 million DM, Revenues increase to 529 million DM, Revenues Projection for 2000 were raised again!
SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG announces cumulative revenues of 529 million DM (1999 = 210.9 million DM). The net earnings for this period totaled 75.7 million DM (1999 = 25.0 millon DM).
Orders received in the first 9 months totaled 573.7 million DM and reflect the vigorous worldwide demand for DVD and CD/CD-ROM replication lines. Only the demand for once-recordable CD-R replication lines has slowed as expected due to the current overcapacity in the market.
Due to the higher production capacities of the new facility in Kahl/ Main the order backlog was successfully reduced to 439.8 million DM by September 30, 2000. As a result deliveries can be expedited to satisfy customer demand.
Revenues projection for the current fiscal year raised again! The revenues projection for the current fiscal year have been raised once again from 660 million DM to 700 million DM.
Successful market introduction of the new MODULUS metallizer! The first MODULUS metallizer for rewritable CD-RW as well as DVD-RW/DVD-RAM discs has already been sold and will be delivered before year end.
