In advance of today's results' press conference and the ensuing DVFA analysts' conference, Süss MicroTec AG is releasing its provisional order and revenue figures for the first quarter. The company is reporting a strong book/bill ratio of 2.1. Orders rose in the first quarter to DM 86m (44 Mio. Euro), after commission and freight. This extraordinary quarterly result is an improvement of 159% over the same period in the previous year and continues a trend started in the third quarter of 1999 of strong quarter to quarter order growth. First quarter net sales (after commission and freight) rose by 45.7% to DM 40.8m (20.9 Mio, Euro).
