Munich (ots) - MX Group Spa presents SPIM prototype - At HALL B5 - STAND 550 SPIM is an electronic device prototype that transforms PV module in an intelligent node of a wireless network able to communicate with remote supervisor.
The new product will be introduced for testing purposes during Intersolar. In the demonstration is planned that some photovoltaic modules supplying users, qualified to simulate malfunction conditions or to signal module theft from the plant.
The new product is at the moment destineted to some pilot plant. In the near future, thanks to Spim will be possible to measure electrical parameters of each single PV module, to monitor measured parameters on the fields compared to the rated parameters of each module - whatever is the dimension of the plant - measure the production of each single module and inhibit the functionality of the module in case of steal.
