Frankfurt Airport's Traffic Figures for November 2001

However, the traffic decline has weakened: with the Passenger category registering a -10.9 percent change in November, versus a -13.9 percent change in October 2001. Consolidation of traffic at major hub airports like FRA has been a noticeable development. Transfer traffic via FRA has been strengthened by airline capacity adjustments and route cancellations at other airports. Intercontinental traffic again recorded the biggest traffic declines. In particular, flights to Islamic states, North Africa and the Middle East, as well as to the U.S.A., were strongly affected.
