As part of a licensing agreement covering the current Pokemon
stars, UNITEDLABELS AG has successfully expanded its product
offering. UNITEDLABELS AG, the leading European specialist in comic
products under licence, intends to supply an array of high-quality
merchandise centered around the Pokemon characters. The licensor is
EM-TV Merchandising AG. Within the next two years, UNITEDLABELS AG
expects the new products to generate revenues of DM 18m. Worldwide,
Pokemon merchandising has already generated revenues of DM 15
billion. The agreement has allowed UNITEDLABELS AG to further enhance
its leading position within the market for comic products under
licence.
