Investment in personnel and e-commerce secure future expansion - High growth with a positive result expected for 2001
PRO DV Software AG (SCN 696780), one of the leading providers of spatial and process-oriented business solutions was able to increase its total operating performance by 17 per cent in the past year, to 19.4 million euro (1999: 16.6 million euro), according to provisional figures. The operating result (EBIT) before IPO costs was 26 Teuro (1999: 1.6 million euro), which corresponds to adjusted earnings per share of -0.08 euro after taxes.
Thus the figures are slightly higher than the corrected total operating performance forecasts from November 2000 of 19.0 million euro wity a steady result. In the past year PRO DV consciously invested in the expansion of its human resources and the development of new offerings, and in particular in the e-commerce environment. These investments were necessary as the basis for further growth in the coming years, and will already have a positive impact on earnings in 2001. For the year 2001 PRO DV expects a considerable increase in the aggregate operating performance, to 28.7 million euro, with a positive operating result (EBIT) of 2.3 million euro.
