    Vienna (ots Ad hoc-Service) -

BEKO Holding AG announces its acquisition of a 20% interest in the Austrian company CLC Call Center & Logistik GmbH. If CLC should appoint a supervisory board, BEKO will be entitled to one seat on the supervisory board, which will be taken by a member of BEKOs board of directors.

Today, BEKO stated that its decision to acquire this interest was mainly motivated by the enormous growth potential of this young growth company and the comprehensive range of services provided by CLC.

CLC - Call Center & Logistik Center GmbH, a company located in the Upper Austrian capital of Linz, is the Austrian market leader when it comes to call-centre solutions. CLC offers not only all classic call-centre services such as inbound and outbound calls (for sales, surveys, hot-line support) and database marketing, but also advice for and implementation of customer call centres. CLC also integrates call-centre services and logistics in an ideal way. Its range of services, inter alia facilitated by CLCs own warehouses, includes everything from the acceptance of orders to delivery and collection. Its recent participation in dmb Marketing Beratung Ges.m.b.H has turned CLC into the absolute market leader, thereby synergistically and successfully combining dmbs services, such as consulting, database management, interactive marketing and seminars for all direct marketing and sales activities, with the existing business areas and continuing the expansive growth process. For 2000 CLC expects a 3figure million turnover in ATS.

In the previous year, together with its other subsidiaries in Germany, the Czech Republic and Hungary, BEKO Holding AG with its approximately 1057 employees achieved an overall turnover of 80 million euros and its results from ordinary activities amounted to 8.7 million euros. Since its going public, BEKO Holding AG has been pursuing an active acquisition and participation strategy. The investment policy of BEKO Holding AG includes financial participations as well as strategic partnerships or strategic influence in the sense of "significant influence".
