Carcoustics product innovation "Alu Fibre Compact" will be launched at the 2014 Hanover Fair

Carcoustics, a company that develops and manufactures acoustic and thermal insulating components for the automotive and other sectors, will be introducing an innovative development to provide insulation and damping for industrial products at the 2014 Hanover Fair: "Alu Fibre Compact?. This product combines high-quality mineral wool with perforated aluminium, thereby overcoming some weak points of conventional insulating materials. "Alu Fibre Compact? is designed to conform to flammability class A2 and is therefore not flammable and thus safer. It excels through lower emissions, is easy to clean, and provides both insulation and damping in one. It will be easy for the manufacturers of household appliances, plant and machines, agricultural machinery as well as heating and air-conditioning equipment to incorporate the material into their product housings in a compact and space-saving manner.

The benefits of "Alu Fibre Compact? at a glance: The material offers sound insulation and absorption in one. Thanks to the stamping process, there is no risk of mineral fibres becoming detached, which protects both people and the environment from the irritants they contain; at the same time, the insulation can be cleaned easily thanks to the aluminium layer. The firmly stamped edges make for simple and fast installation.
